Twas The Night Before Christmas...

So, it's Christmas Eve!

The boys are getting excited and they had a special surprise from Bertie when they woke up this morning. New stockings and a couple of bags of super sparkly Magic Reindeer Food!

Everyone's really getting into the Christmas spirit. We've been making Truffles this week. Lovely and messy, but VERY tasty! And SO easy to make! Yummy :)

A couple of days ago, Bertie also made the boys a very special North Pole Breakfast which they LOVED! Not the healthiest start to the day, but very much enjoyed by both of them!

So, I'm now off to enjoy the next few days with my beautiful family :)

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Meet Bertie!

Before I do anything, I would like to introduce you to our new friend, Bertie Elf!

Bertie has been staying with us for a few weeks now (since December 1st) and in this time he's been keeping an eye on what the boys have been up to, and reporting back to Father Christmas each evening with whether they've been naughty or nice. But he's also been having plenty of fun while he's been here too! Here's a few of the things he's been up to...

When Bertie arrived on December 1st, he brought some special treats along with him! An advent house for the boys to open each morning, a candy cane, and a special Santa chocolate each! And of course, he had to bring with him his special Elf Diary to report back to Father Christmas, as well as his passport (for travelling back and forth) and a cozy sleeping bag to sleep in!

Bertie got a bit bored on the second day and decided to get up to some mischief! He turned the milk GREEN and hid out in the fridge to see if the boys could find him in the morning.

Bertie brought his favourite book and DVD with him for the boys. Aliens Love Panta Claus is a big hit in the North Pole with all the other Elves apparently.

Taking a leaf out of the boys new book, Aliens Love Panta Claus, Bertie decided to decorate the tree with Jaspers pants!

Getting into the spirit of things. Bertie thought he'd join in on the nativity scene!

Just hanging around...

SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!!!!!!

Bertie got into a bit of a pickle with his friend Woody...

Bertie thought he'd treat the boys to his favourite winter drink - Snowman Soup!

It was a hit (excuse the bed head, half asleep look!)...

...and a certain someone was VERY excited!

Special delivery of some very special Christmas pyjamas...

Bertie loves making Snow Angels! But there's not much of the white stuff about in Norwich at the moment, so he had to improvise with some icing sugar instead!
